Reduce Stress

reducestress

It is well-known that a low level of stress is the key to a happier mind and healthier body. Meditation and proper breathing can help lower stress by clearing the mind and calming the body. This leads to a healthy heart and blood pressure. Meditation allows you to take a break from the world around you and keep things in perspective.

So take that Me Minute™

Close your eyes

Take a deep breath

Hold it for as long it is comfortable

Exhale slowly

Feel your shoulders relaxing, the energy around you change.

Congratulations, now continue to do this several times a day.

Overwhelmed

overwhelmed

Notice the massive amount of leaves pushed up against the rock. It all started by just one leaf getting caught against the rock, then the next one and the next one.   The water and still some of the leaves flow freely past the stagnate leaves.

Have you ever felt like these leaves? You have too many projects, demands or commitments that are starting to pile up?  Didn’t know which project to start first or became so overwhelmed you just didn’t do anything.   You don’t normally see it coming, but all of a sudden it is right in front of you. Does it hit you mentally, physically or emotionally?

First, recognize that it is temporary that by starting to do just one thing, something that you can do instantly and see the results will set the rest in motion.  Prioritize and keep it simple. Patience!

Keep the energy surrounding you and within you free flowing – positive.

Inspire. Ignite. Imagine.
