Acts of Kindness

actsofkindness

Committing a random act of kindness is a demonstration of the generosity of your spirit. Kindness is an expression of love. It is an abundance concept. It is the thinking that you are full of love for your fellow human kind that you’ve got more to give, even to strangers or people that you don’t really know.

“Some measure their lives by days and years,

Others by heart throbs, passion and tears;

But the surest measure under the sun,

Is what in your lifetime for others you have done.”

Overwhelmed

overwhelmed

Notice the massive amount of leaves pushed up against the rock. It all started by just one leaf getting caught against the rock, then the next one and the next one.   The water and still some of the leaves flow freely past the stagnate leaves.

Have you ever felt like these leaves? You have too many projects, demands or commitments that are starting to pile up?  Didn’t know which project to start first or became so overwhelmed you just didn’t do anything.   You don’t normally see it coming, but all of a sudden it is right in front of you. Does it hit you mentally, physically or emotionally?

First, recognize that it is temporary that by starting to do just one thing, something that you can do instantly and see the results will set the rest in motion.  Prioritize and keep it simple. Patience!

Keep the energy surrounding you and within you free flowing – positive.

Inspire. Ignite. Imagine.

Songs for your spirit!

songsforspirit

The following website has always provided an inspiring yet comfortable place for me to visit, I especially like her last blog: Create your own Holiday Experience. She asks: What one or two (three?) holiday traditions are absolutely crucial to each of you? My first tradition is decorating the fireplace mantle with the needlepointed stockings made and individualized by my mother!   What’s your traditions? May you experience peace this holiday season and all days to follow!
